findfirst() Method

Julia provides an inbuilt findfirst(arr) function in Julia to return the index or key of the first true value in the specified array.
Its syntax is findfirst() where its parameter is arr: an array. It returns the index or key of the first true value in the specified array.

X = [false, false, true, false]
println(findfirst(X))

Y = [false false; false true]
println(findfirst(Y))

Z = cat([false true; false false],
       [true false; true false],
       [false false; true true], dims = 3)
println(findfirst(Z))
